Create Your First Product
Time estimate: about 5 minutes, after at least one artwork is approved.
A product on Artist 360 is a base item (shirt, hoodie, vinyl, tote, digital download, stream ticket) plus your artwork placed on one or more print zones. The Product wizard walks you through picking the base, placing your artwork, and submitting for review in three steps.
Step 1: Open the Product wizard
Section titled “Step 1: Open the Product wizard”- Sign in to Creator Studio.
- Open Products → Create Product.
The wizard opens on the Choose Product step with three indicators across the top: Choose Product, Make It Yours, Review.
Step 2: Choose a base product
Section titled “Step 2: Choose a base product”- Browse the base product grid. Each tile shows the product image, name, and category (T-Shirt, Hoodie, Vinyl, Tote, etc.).
- Click the base product you want. A highlight ring confirms the selection.
- Click Continue.
The available base products are curated by Artist 360. If you want a base that isn’t listed, request it in What’s New.
Step 3: Make it yours
Section titled “Step 3: Make it yours”This step is the Product Designer. It has a left sidebar with icon buttons and a canvas on the right.
- In the Product panel on the left, enter a Title (required, up to 255 characters) and an optional Description (up to 5000 characters).
- Open the Uploads panel. You’ll see every Approved artwork from your library.
- Drag an artwork onto one of the Print Zones on the canvas (e.g., Front Center, Back Full). A green dot on the zone tab confirms placement.
- Watch the DPI badge next to each placement:
- Good — 300 DPI or higher at placed size
- Fair — between 150 and 300 DPI
- Low — below 150 DPI
- Toggle between the Design and Mockups views to check how the product will look on a fan-visible preview.
- Click Continue.
Print Zones explained
Section titled “Print Zones explained”A Print Zone is the area on a base product where artwork can be placed. Each base product has one or more zones with their own dimensions and DPI thresholds. For example, a T-Shirt has Front Center and Back Full zones, each with their own maximum print size and minimum DPI. You don’t have to place artwork on every zone.
Step 4: Review and submit
Section titled “Step 4: Review and submit”- Review the summary: product name, artwork title, print zones with artwork placed.
- Read the pricing note. Default prices are set from your tier’s multipliers. You can customize each variant’s price after the product is approved.
- Click Submit for Review.
You’ll land on the new product’s detail page with status Pending. Artist 360 reviews it within 1-2 business days after the artwork has been approved.
