Upload Your First Artwork

Time estimate: about 3 minutes to upload, plus up to 2 business days for review.

Artwork is the image you place on products. Every product on Artist 360 uses at least one piece of artwork, and every artwork passes through review before it can be used. This page walks you through your first upload.

  1. Sign in to Creator Studio.
  2. Open ArtworkUpload from the Creator Studio menu.

You’ll land on the Upload Artwork page with a title field and a drag-and-drop area.

  1. Enter a Title for the artwork. This is how you’ll find it again in your Artwork library.
  2. Enter a Description if you want a longer note to yourself (optional).
  3. Drag your image file into the upload area, or click the area to browse and select a file.

You’ll see a preview and a confirmation that the file is ready.

  1. Click Upload Artwork.
  2. You’ll land on the new artwork’s detail page. The status is Draft.
  3. Click Submit for Review. The status changes to Pending Review.
RequirementValueWhy
Supported formatsPNG, JPG, SVGCovers raster and vector art
Maximum file size50 MBFast uploads without hitting browser limits
Minimum dimensions1500 × 1500 pixelsEnsures enough resolution for print
Minimum DPI150 DPIThreshold for acceptable print quality
RecommendedSVG for logos and type, 300 DPI raster for illustrationsCrisp detail on large prints

Files under these thresholds will upload, but you’ll see a Low or Fair DPI badge when you place them on products. That may still be fine for small prints, but large-format items (back prints, poster-size designs) will look noticeably pixelated.

Artist 360 review confirms your artwork:

  • Meets the minimum dimensions and resolution
  • Doesn’t infringe copyright or trademark
  • Doesn’t contain prohibited content (hate speech, explicit sexual imagery, etc.)
  • Is safe for the print production process (no truly black-only SVG strokes, no corrupt layers)

Most artwork is reviewed within 2 business days. You’ll get a notification when the status changes.

A rejection includes a reason from the reviewer. Common reasons:

  • Resolution below minimum
  • Potential trademark or copyright conflict
  • Color mode needs adjustment (convert CMYK to RGB)
  • File technically corrupted

Open the rejected artwork in your library, click Resubmit, attach a fixed file, and it re-enters the review queue.

  • Uploaded an image file under 50 MB
  • Added a title (and optional description)
  • Submitted for review
  • Status shows Pending Review in your Artwork library
