Glossary
Every term used across Creator Studio and this help center, defined in plain language. Terms link to the section where they’re covered in depth.
Active : A product status that means fans can see and buy the product on your storefront. Products move to Active after they’re Approved and you click Activate. See Products.
Analyst : A team role with read-only access to orders, sales reports, and stream analytics. Cannot edit anything. See Team.
Artwork : An image file you upload and put on products. Every piece of artwork goes through a short review before it can be used. See Artwork.
Base Product : The blank item a product starts from (T-Shirt, Hoodie, Vinyl, Tote, etc.) before you place artwork on it. Base products are curated by Artist 360. See Products.
Channel : A persistent streaming endpoint tied to your account. You can run many separate streams through one channel. See Streaming.
Collection : A group of related products you bundle together on your storefront, like “2026 Tour Merch”. See Products.
Creator : An account that sells products and runs streams on Artist 360. Creators include solo artists, bands, labels, artist managers, and marketers running stores on behalf of an artist.
Creator Studio : The web portal where you manage your account: products, orders, streams, payouts, and team.
DPI : Dots per inch. A measure of image resolution. Artwork is graded Good (300+ DPI), Fair (150-300), or Low (below 150) at its placed size on a product. See Artwork.
Editor : A team role that can create and edit artwork and products, but has no access to orders, payouts, or team settings. See Team.
Manager : A team role with full access to products, orders, artwork, storefront settings, and streaming. Cannot change payout methods or remove team members. See Team.
Mockup : A generated preview of how your artwork looks on a base product. Check the Mockups view before submitting a product. See Products.
Owner : The team role with full control of a creator account, including payouts and account closure. Every account has exactly one Owner. See Team.
Payout : A transfer of your earned royalties from Artist 360 to your bank or payout provider. Payouts happen on the schedule you choose. See Payments & Payouts.
Payout Method : How Artist 360 sends money to you — bank transfer, PayPal, Venmo, or Wise. Set up in Payments & Payouts.
Payout Schedule : How often Artist 360 sends your earnings — weekly, every two weeks, or monthly.
Platform Fee : The percentage of each sale Artist 360 keeps. Your royalty is what remains after the platform fee and product cost.
Pending Review : The artwork status after you upload, before it’s approved for use. Review takes up to 2 business days.
Print Zone : The area on a base product where artwork can be placed. A shirt has front and back print zones. Each zone has its own size and DPI thresholds. See Artwork.
Product : Something fans can buy from your storefront: a shirt, vinyl, digital download, or ticket. See Products.
PWYW : Pay what you want. A ticket pricing model where fans choose how much to pay, with an optional minimum. See Streaming.
Royalty : Your share of a sale. Calculated as the sale price minus the platform fee and the product cost.
Series : An ordered group of recorded streams, like a season. See Streaming.
Simulcast : Broadcasting the same live stream to multiple platforms at once. YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, and custom RTMP are supported. See Streaming.
Storefront
: Your public, fan-facing site at your subdomain (handle.artist360.live) or custom domain. Fans browse products, buy tickets, and watch streams here. See Your Storefront.
Store Admin : A team role that manages storefront settings, orders, shipping, and fulfillment. No access to artwork, products, or payouts. See Team.
Stream : A single broadcast, scheduled or live. Streams run through channels. See Streaming.
Team Member : Someone with access to your creator account. Roles range from Owner (full control) to Analyst (read-only). See Team.
Ticket : A fan’s access to a ticketed stream. Tickets can be free, pay-what-you-want, or a fixed price. See Streaming.
Variant : A specific version of a product: a size, color, or pressing. Fans pick a variant at checkout. See Products.
VOD : Video on demand. Recorded playback of a past live stream, available to ticket holders for a set window. See Streaming.
